CognEye - A ability to percieve

I along a team from my college, participated for an event called as "Skill Up 2.0" organised by Google developers of code and Community of Coders committees at VJTI. Skill Up 2.0 is a platform to work on projects, explore new domains, and collaborate with peers. It was encouraged by our peers to students to bring in new, innovative projects and ideas and get hands-on experience and thus create and present a working prototype of the idea

CognEye is an AI platform to help the visually impaired community to get a more better and clear understanding of their surroundings and conceive the world a better to live in.CognEye platform will help detect a person's surrounding through its AI features like Object Detection, Optical Character Recognition, Location Detection, facial Recognition, etc.

App Working

The cogneye app opens up with a logo screen, which further moves towards a screen which reads out App features. User can either click on any of the feature or speak out the name of the feature. Eventually the feature will activate camera of the smartphone. Once the Phone's camera is moved around an object/Letter/Paragraph, the voice is enabled and it reads out the object/letter/paragraph aloud. Currently the app is still in the development mode.
